Avery Hill Park stretches over 90 hectares of parkland and features ancient trees, a circular path, a new play area, café and toilets, sports pitches and a weekly Parkrun.
Avery Hill Park Tree Planting Day!
Saturday 27th March from 10.00am
We are creating a new woodland in the southernmost field of the park, we have 400 small trees to plant and we need a bit of help! The worksite marked on the map.
- Families are welcome but please bring your own spades - other tools not needed this time.
- Car park is at the end of 40 Foot Drive which is opposite Sidewood Road.
- We are permitted to work/volunteer as a group but we must maintain social distancing rules at all times.
- Wear wellies or strong shoes, old warm clothes, work gloves and bring some refreshments and snacks.
